I almost have the same setup as you, against a white wall and I have four guavas growing along the wall. Eventually they'll provide shade, but I'll probably have to put up some shade cloth next summer ...

what variety do you have? and do you have two of them? I read they need a pollinator.

How do they perform during the summer? any problems with pests?

Any Iron chelate that's EDDHA will work better in our soil than the regular iron chelates you find at the stores. Apply it via foliar spray and you'll see results faster.

had a sugar apple as well 5 years ago and died from cold weather. Really sensitive to cold. but took the summer heat like a champ. full sun with no shade protection.

anyone know where I can get a bag of the bioflora dry crumbles?

I called summerwinds and elgin nursery and was told that they both only carry the compost not the dry crumble fertilizer.
