My peppers are looking very unhappy my feelings is they have been over watered although the water has been turned off for 2 days now the ground still feels wet. Will they recover?

Basil, what should I do with it, I was thinking it would die off in the cold but so far it is going strong. Whats the best thing to do for the new season. Cut it back or pull it out and start again. I love having the leaves for cooking. I had several patches so I let this patch flower to attract insects but now this is the one left.

Yes, your peppers look droopy. Hmmm... you'll probably just have to wait and see. Although vegetables are very vigorous and the weather is good so they have a good chance of recovering.

I don't have any experience with Basil. Maybe someone else will chime in.
