I have a guava tree about 2-year-old and it was planted near a wall facing east. Since this March, the leaves near the trunk started to turn yellow. Photos attached. Could anyone suggest me what's wrong with the tree? Thanks!

Your tree looks healthy. I think its just shedding its older leaves. Mine are doing the same thing lately. Although I did give mine some Magnesium sulfate, mixed a 3 fingered pinch in a gallon of water, just to make sure it wasn't a problem with that.

Thanks for the advice. Will Epsom salt fertilizer work as well ?

I believe epsom salt is the same thing as magnesium sulfate. The bag of m.s. I have says agricultural grade on it. I'm not sure if there is any real difference. Magnesium sulfate from the garden store is cheap. It might be best to stick with that just in case.
