I just ordered a couple of banana plants, they will be shipped next week.
I am wondering if it is already too cold to plant them outside or should I just plant them in pot and put them inside the house?
any advice will be appreciated. _________________ *******

Yes, its too cool out now. They won't grow much outside and since they are small they might even perish. Get them started in a sunny window indoors and put them out in March. |

Thanks, I will do that.
Now my local Lowes store has different fruit tress, one I am interested in is the pink guava, do you think I should wait till spring as well? I am leaning towards waiting but patiance is not my strong quality. _________________ *******

I think you could put a pink guava in the ground this time of year. It won't grow much, but I doubt it will die, and you'll get a jump start on your crop of guavas for next year. |
