I have a Thompson Seedless Grape Vine. It is 3 years old. The grapes are the size of a pea right now, hard, and bitter, and they are starting to dry and drop. Any ideas? The vine gets 1/2 gallon of water per day on my irrigation system and is planted in an 8 gallon container. |

I don't think your grapes are ripe yet. How does the foliage look on the vine? If the foliage looks good and the vine is growing well, you are probably doing things right.
In general, I don't recommend watering anything every day. It makes the soil too soggy. Also, I don't know if grapes make a very good container plant. Your plant would be easier to take care of in the ground. If you still want to keep it in a container make sure that it is not the black plastic type. Those get really hot in the sun and cook the plants roots. |
