Below is a photo of one of my frost cloth structures. It is made out of 1.5 inch PVC. I use pvc joints to put it together and then screw in sheet metal screws to lock the pipe in the joint. I also place two screws toward the bottom to potentially mount a light on. I use a 75 watt bulb attached by a clamp.

I generally only use these for small trees. For larger trees I just throw the frost cloth over the top and still use a clamp to hold the light to the tree.

Here is a shot of my PVC structure over my mango trees that I shrink wrapped Smile

I still have the sun shade on top which has the xmas lights zip tied to it so they can dangle towards the top of the plant

also the past couple nights I put a plastic drop cloth over the sun shade to help retain the heat a bit better

my low has always been 35 inside, even when the temps outside were 27
