is this mango a bad choice for our climate? its a early blooming and ripening mango.. ripens around late march to april

that means it blooms late in the year during our frost season right?

I doubt it would actually be that early here, because our winters are so much cooler than Florida. I would guess you would just get your mangoes in mid summer rather than late summer. It seems like it might be worth a try.

Mulls - you saw my pics, right, of my Rosie! Planted under and at the base of a large palm tree, it now has about 8 fruit on it now and flowered in March or so. Def. after winter was here. Now I'm in Palm Springs so we are a little diff. that phoenix, and actually I seem to remember you are a bit colder than even Phoenix....
