Would anyone like a free mulberry tree?

One has self-planted in an awkward spot in my garden. With recent rains, it has grown quickly and is now about 5 feet tall.

If you have a 5 gallon pot, you should be able to transplant it and take it home. I don't really have a place for it but I don't want to just kill it.

I live in north Phoenix, 85022.

I dug up one earlier this year that popped up at the base of my cinder block wall. I'm sure it would have taken out the wall eventually being right next to it. I think the birds spread the seeds, so this is a common occurrence. I admire that you want to spare its young plant life, but if you don't get any takers, you'll want to dig it up quick. It will soon become much bigger.

Thanks for the input. I agree that I will have to get rid of it soon.
