I have a Suebelle White Sapote and a Gold Nugget Mango to plant. I want to put them by an already planted Manila Mango tree. So, how close can I plant these to each other? I have heard that the Sapote will only get around 10 ft here instead of the 40 feet or so that the tag says but haven't actually seen a mature tree. |

I go with a 6 foot minimum. The white sapote can get very big but can be easily kept smaller by pruning. Same thing with the mangoes. |

Thanks, I had started a couple of holes but then thought that I had better ask. After seeing your Sapote (which looks very healthy and robust in the picture), maybe I will stretch the distance out a bit on that one. I'm always trying to plant so that I can get as many plants in as possible but I also don't want a tangled mess later. |
