Your papaya looks really good.

Have you had grapes on this vine before and if so, how did you keep the birds from getting them?

How old is your dragon fruit? Has it had any fruit yet? What a perfect set up for one. Mine is all set to grow up a thorny Palo Brea, It was my only appropriate spot right now.
Thanks for the pictures.

By the way. Do you get good fruit off of your Lemon and Strawberry Guavas? I tried cattley guavas here when I first started gardening, and fertilized them to death. That was back when I was new to this stuff. I recall that cattley guavas couldn't take the AZ heat too well, and they did fruit fairly well, but it was fairly sour. However, that could just be because I wasn't taking good car of them. I tried some cattley guavas in Hawaii that were pretty darn good.

>the grapes are picked by birds/ and myself, I think I will put a net in the future, for now my dogs keep them off.

Smile I have , catteys all in "different climates" Pots, shade , full sun ect.

The Strawberry guavas I find, are the hardiest, They will do betther with afternoon shade, the key I think is well drained and lots of water, they love manure too. And they will tell you when to back off the water there leaves will swirl, or curl (I think they look cool) Cool I also have one in a pot as a buet, bonsi, It has that same mix you rec. for plumerias + Natures way. The fruit I got sometimes is sometimes sour, but I counter act that by watering alot in the fall. Every fruit i get is GOLD (hardly give it away). But besides the fruit the plants are very ornimental.

Very Happy Th lemon Guava , Is different, form my extp, This one hates our full sun, they will have ever get used to it, but suffer in july -aug. They fruit alot more and the fruit is even better the the strawberry to me in AZ, Its almost like the straw taste like lemon and the lemon taste like straw in az. Rolling Eyes Never the leas. this lemon guava puts out more floweres (twice a year) then the straw, and get water from the lawn and doesnt seem to mind flooding. or soil. Every fruit i get is (PLATINUM).

Both grow slow, so i think its best to show them off in a pot or place them as a hedge or in groups.

Hiking In Hawaii, I remember eating these guys on the Man.a Falls

the rare cattey I got from AZRFG are still to small, to report. but doing well.

The one I killed years ago was a lemon guava. So lemon and strawberries are different, very interesting. I think I'll try the lemon one again but keep it in light shade this time. Thanks!
