Hi again, have several posts out for help. I am beginning a Fall garden, is it best to plant my seeds in small containers before transplanting in the garden. My garden is not ready. But I need to get these seeds going.
Desperate for help down here south of phoenix! |

Yes, give them a head start in pots. Put them in the ground in late October and hope we don't have any hard freezes... or ... keep them in the pots and set out in March. Of course, some veggies can take mild freezes without getting hammered. |

Thank you!
Now, I am wondering, you say put them in pots, I mean the small ones to just raise to go to garden. If I raise me seeds to plants, do i wait until March to put them out. I am talking about carrots, squash, lettuces, yale, etc. I thought those would grow this winter?? |

For sure, lettuce and the other winter crops put out in the Fall. |
