This is my guava tree's first winter, and I am wondering if there is anything different that I have to do with it. I read about lowering water frequency because of root rot, does that apply here? Thanks for the help.

I water everything less during the winter. In the summer my guavas get water every other day. In winter I water them once a week. Root rot is not much of a problem with guavas, but they will be healthier if not overwatered.
