I had literally hundreds of little mango fruit coming on my trees this year, but when it got brutally and unusually hot in May almost all of them dropped. I have one Keitt mango left Sad It looks like it will make it though.

I think next year I will water my trees much more in May, especially if it gets unusually hot. Also, maybe fertilizing the trees in May when there was fruit setting was not a good idea. I have eaten a fairly plentiful crop off these same trees in the past.

On a good note, the trees are growing like crazy without any fruit to support. My largest tree has put on about 3 feet of growth in just two months.

I give my trees fish emulsion 5-1-1 once every two weeks. Every now and then, every 2 months maybe, I give them fish 5-1-1 mixed with fish 0-10-10. I use the 0-10-10 less frequently because its a little more salty. To apply, I mix cap full of the concentrate into a gallon of water and poor it around the tree.
