Also I picked the (Rajapuri) based on your recomdation. I have also read that Californa Gold is suposted to be a reliable producer.

It steadily pumps out new pups. I probably get 2-3 new ones a year. the largest one every year flowers and fruits. I have been averaging one bunch a year. The corm doesn't spread out beyond the original base, and it's probably because it only goes to where it gets water, which is within a 3 foot radius. If you wanted twice any many bananas and stalks you'd probably have to double this watering radius and the corm would move into it. |
