got this one from scott in meas(aztropic) last year. it has easily doulbled in size. i think the only other better growing sabal is the S causiarum in my yard

I got one from him last year as well. It has done great with mostly full sun.

I have a sabal blackburniana as well. It threw impressive growth for being planted in april of 2012. I'll post a pic of it when its light out.

I was wondering if this guy was going to make it thru the cold snap with no cover as I ran out covering others. Not a mark on it!

No cover for mine either. Not even a hint it just survived sub freezing temperatures. What's crazy, is I covered my triangle, and my two small royals, and the royals came out with out any damage, but, i cannot say the same for the triangle, which is about 6 feet tall with a foot of trunk. However, the center spear is green.

I planted the two small royals near end of summer. I am still waiting for them to grow. They had some frond damage during shipping, but hopefully this spring they will shoot up some growth and get big some day.
