Didn't know if any of you Phoenecians are growing the Choc Anon (Miracle) Mango but for the last 3 years it has consistently flowered around this time, a good 4 months after everything else, and for the first time it's holding some fruitlets. It has the reputation for multiple crops in tropical climates, and seems to want to show off what it can do at this off season time for us.

Anyone else notice this with this mango or any other? I think I'm going to shade cover it just so the emerging fruit has some kind of chance to get larger and stronger. Here's some pictures....the closeups are a little fuzzy....

Seem to be more vigorous than other types. I have some in 3 gallon pots that have trunks as thick as other types in 15 gallon size.

Yes, fairly vigorous for me too....

UPDATE: Every little mango fell off that had set on the ChocAnon. Still sending out new panicles. Will report if any of those stay on!
