I've heard that Annonas cannot fruit or flower because of low humidity. I've heard of trees growing here (they do excellent), but have you heard of any actually fruiting? I saw this website's entry, but there is no recorded flowering. Others have mentioned it, but never directly answered the question. If this is so, then why do we bother growing atemoyas, when we can grow mango instead (not that its better)? |

Mine definitely flowers, but no fruit yet. It is very humid in July sometimes. My tree is a Gefner which is supposed to be self fruitful. It has been about 5 years since it was planted. If I ever get any fruit I will be sure to let everyone know. |
