Phoenix Tropicals Gardening

Has anyone tried growing ferns here in phoenix other than foxtail and asparagus ferns (already growing these successfully)? I just purchased a 5 gallon Mother Fern and an Austrialian Tree Fern from Lowe's this weekend and am going to plant them in a shady area of my garden protected by a 40+ yr old orange tree and adjacent to a giant bird of paradise, rubber tree and a large monstera deliciosa. I'm hoping having the other plants nearby and heavily mulching them will help to increase the ambient humidity. I also receive flood irrigation from SRP (dont know if this helps or hurts). Anyone know if these plants will survive our hot dry climate? I love the look of fern garens but fear i may need to eventually move to a more humid climate to grow all my favorite plants at the scale I'd like to.
