I just ordered a couple of banana plants, they will be shipped next week.
I am wondering if it is already too cold to plant them outside or should I just plant them in pot and put them inside the house?

any advice will be appreciated.

Yes, its too cool out now. They won't grow much outside and since they are small they might even perish. Get them started in a sunny window indoors and put them out in March.

Thanks, I will do that.

Now my local Lowes store has different fruit tress, one I am interested in is the pink guava, do you think I should wait till spring as well? I am leaning towards waiting but patiance is not my strong quality.

I think you could put a pink guava in the ground this time of year. It won't grow much, but I doubt it will die, and you'll get a jump start on your crop of guavas for next year.
