Does a frost warning text message service exist?

Was thinking today after I saw my frost-damaged plants that (even though I wasn't home when it happened), I rarely watch live TV and even more rarely check forecasts to see if a frost is expected.

Is there a service out there that sends out texts if a frost is expected? I saw something on weather.com that it would send out texts in the event of "extreme weather" and in the menus "extreme cold" was an option on that. Is a forecast of "extreme cold" anything less than like 38? Some winter visitors would practically say that that's a good day for the beach, so I wasn't sure.
