Hello guys.
I have been thinking about getting an All in one Almond tree, the spot i like to plant it in is in my south facing back yards, it will get sun all day long as there is nothing blocking it.

Any experiences with these trees?

I have a Garden Prince dwarf self fertile almond tree, and my neighbor has three almonds, and I believe one of his in an all-in-one. They do well here in full sun. I water mine on a grass schedule, meaning every two weeks in winter and every other day in the middle of summer. I believe you could probably water less often once they are established. Mine is planted in the grass so I don't have the less frequent watering option. Just make sure you tree is not too close, less than 8 feet from a south facing wall, because that area becomes a real cooker in late summer.

I bought it at Baker's in Phoenix. My next door neighbor has 2 almonds so it probably doesn't matter if its self fertile but its supposed to be. Here is the description:

Garden Prince Genetic Dwarf
Compact, lushly foliated 10-12ft. tree. Soft shell, kernels especially sweet and tasty. Bears young and heavy. Large, light pink blossoms. 250 hours. Self-fruitful. (Zaiger)
