looks like my Glenn might actually hold fruit this year.. past couple years they've always fallen off when they reach the size of a dime/nickle, and opening them up after they fall off it always looks as if the seed seems to never grow, looking like a tiny black speck.

But I think this year I might actually get to try one or two!

Yes, that looks promising. By the way, if they are on the sunny side of the tree you might want to shade them if they start to look too sun burned. Larger trees tend to shade them with leaves, but when the trees are small like that, the mango fruit need some protection. I have wrapped them in a little collar of paper in the past. You also might want to consider painting the stem above the fruit using 50% (white latex paint to water) if it starts looking badly burned.

I hope that it makes it. My Glenn didn't set any fruit but then, I got it a little less than a year ago. Let me know how it is.

My Pickering that I had gotten from Top Trop. still has one of the mangoes left. It measures 1" X 2" so maybe it will make it too. The plant gets shade on the east by a wall and the west because of a shade structure that I put up but I'll watch the mango to see if I need to protect it further.

...so Mulls...is Mr. Glenn still hanging on? Mine fell off just thismorning as I handled it and noticed it looked a little withered...but I'm happy actually - that little stick needs some lateral branch growth!!!!!

I have 5 still hanging on for dear life lol.

One started to ooze on the side, figures too as this one is the largest.. Might have been sunburn so I put up a shade structure on it's west side
