has anyone grown these?
saw them at Lowes and was considering it but dont know anything about the fruit or tree, like cold hardiness, can it take phoenix sun, etc |

I have one. It's a type of tropical guava and the fruit is good. |

Which Lowes? The usual ones in the north / northeast valley are filled with feijoas and cattleys -- nothing else. |

west chandler had them.. now i think all they have is the tropical pink and white guavas left and a ton of loquats |

Yeah, tons of loquats. Good tropical fruit tree for Arizona, though. |
