yes the first one has dropped. cant wait to try it. Finding its turning purple of the windowsill

Hurray!! You don't need to wait any longer. They are ready if they drop no matter what the color. Filter the juice from the seeds through a fine wire mesh and make juice. Use a spoon to grind the seeds against the mesh to break up the little jelly bags.

We usually order a box of 50 from California each year. Of course we do not know if they wait until they drop before collecting them but we do know if we dont wait a few days until they go nice and crinkly and have a good passion fruit smell they do not taste good.

We tried our first one this morning, it was delicious. I guess we should be getting them dropping for the next month. Yummy since it flowered for 6 weeks. Fruit number 3 dropped this morning.
By the way it has taken a few days since it has dropped to really get a nice strong smell.

on the one vine they are mainly yellow, the other vine they are coming off purple
