Doubled in size this year after I built a shadehouse next to it. You can judge the size based upon the wine barrels next to it. It's been in the ground for four years.
It has western exposure, with the shadehouse to the east, and is essentially in full sun. I shaded it for the first two years after buying it from Home Depot. It finally fruited for the first time last winter.

One tree. I had my doubts as well but all that new growth is coming off a huge side branch off the main trunk, above the graft point. It's not from a sucker. |
