Yes, Mario, I saw these posted on the other forum. That Graham is amazing....how can it not be root bound??? Still an amazing plant. Hope you get your own place some day so these puppies can go in the ground.
And how did you guys survive the super cold 4-5 days we had in January. I was just in Litchfield Park the end of last week and the frost damage to so many plants looked pretty bad...guess different areas get diff. damage just like here in Palm Springs....

Wow. Those are pretty amazing. Nice star fruit and mango. Your mango looks like it is going to fall over.. ha ha. It might, could possibly, just may be time to go to a larger pot. I think you can find pots with wheels on them.

Just googled some planters with wheels and it looks like they are terribly overpriced. Probably you could just get one of those really large Mexican style pots and a good dolly with straps on it and you'd be good to go. You could just pull your cars out of your garage during one of our cold spells and roll your mangoes in there for a couple of days.

Nice looking trees! Have you been getting any fruit off them and I'm also interested in what you did for them during the mini-freeze?

Thanks everyone. Well i recently purchased those trees. Phoenixtropicals was right on the money, after coming home from work it was on the ground lol. So ill problably end up planting it and charging the landlord later. Lol, i hope with the knowladge of everyone here we could eat some mangos pretty soon. My choc anon is supposed to give me 2 crops so we should keep our fingers crossed. If i get mangos we all will eat mangos on me.

Alphonso. It has 4 flower shoots what pollinates mango in the desert haven't seen any bees only a fly on the flowers.

not sure you need bees to pollinate, Bkaus....they are self-pollinating (at least that's my understanding) and the Alphonso was a FABULOUS choice. Mine grows like crazy and has a ton of blooms on it this year. It seems to do particularly well in the desert as I've heard that the Floridians have problems with it....
Let me see if I can find a pic from a few weeks ago....

The pick (Alphonso) was mostly upon you saying it was one of the best for the desert.
Does yours get frost protection in the winter?
