The last update that I saw that anyone made about these were in 2012. So, how are your cherry trees doing now?

well....mine both flowered, I cross-pollinated with a tiny paintbrush but nothing took/became little fruit. But at least it flowered, for the first time...
that gives me some hope, and also in a winter that didn't have a lot of chill hours.....

One of mine never leafed out last year so I replaced it in January. Now I will see if I can keep them both alive and see what happens. This is my last try at cherry trees. Unless they come out with another new and improved variety of course

ME TOO! I'll give them exactly TWO MORE SEASONS, just to be generous, and then they get the CHOP!

Mine both flowered a lot this Spring. They are just finishing flowering. They have a couple of cherries on them. I count two large ones. Lots of little cherries, a 100 maybe, seem to have started but are now dropping off. Since they flowered I'm guessing its not a chill problem. Maybe they just aren't established yet. I planted these trees in late Spring, so this is their second chance (second spring after planting) to fruit.

Let us know what those 2 cherries taste like!

I just tasted my first poorly formed and only cherry thismorning.
Pretty pitiful - not sweet and a bit bitter actually , but of course I know it's the first one so things can only get better, right????

Lets hope! Ive been tossing around putting in about 30 more of these trees next winter........its a huge gamble because no one is for sure these trees will really produce well here. We rely on fruit and vegetable sales (we run a small farmers market operation) for a portion of our income so making a good choice here is really important. If it works ill have the only small commercial planting of cherries in the state, if not im out $1000 and years worth of waiting. I keep going back and forth. :/

The trees held those two cherries. One cherry on the Royal Lee and one on the Minnie Royal. They are a decent size and changing color. I probably should do something to make sure the birds don't get them, just to see what they taste like.

Well, they look good.
Do you think that some of the reason for your small crop could be due to our warm winter? I have several various fruit trees that had more flowers and then of course more fruit set last year. This year some trees that at least had some fruit have none.

Yes, I would expect the warm winter to discourage them. However, they did flower a lot, but a lot of the little fruit dropped. I would expect the warm weather to inhibit the flowering more than anything.
