				| I'm looking into buying a Suebell White Sapote. Anyone growing these and enjoy eating the fruit?
I've canvassed the boards and opinions of sapote fruit are anywhere from eating a "melting apple with a rotting taste" to sweet vanilla-banana pudding.

I'm trying to avoid my guava experience of a few years back, when I discovered that most guavas (pink and white) taste bitter when nutured in 100+ degree temps.

				| I have a Suebelle White Sapote. It tastes great in our climate. Also, your guava experience has to do with variety. Some varieties don't have a very good flavor when temperatures get over a 100°F. Still others, like Mexican Creme taste good all summer. Still, I get nice guavas in Fall and Spring on all my trees. | |
