Man, that's a hard question . I really like them all - i am from the islands so i love all mangoes. Ok, if i had to choose
In no order Fairchild , Pim Saen Mun ( this is probably my fav sweet soft sugar cane / mango taste - make s me want more and more) , PPK , Sweet tart ,
St. Maui , Lemon Zest , Orange Sherbet , Edward , Maha Chanook , Val CARRIE
I know i am fogetting some but those are tops in my book . I may rethink getting rid of my manilita and plant another PSM. Running out of space.
It's really worth heading to Florida when you have time / Money Raimken
I also visit some people growing mangoes who gave me a lot of mangoes while i toured there yard. I even was able to pick whatever i wanted (Usually mature green and ship) back to my home.
Really worth it . I look forward to next year when i go back. Maybe just once this time.

never heard of PSM before, sounds very interesting. Is it a new variety?
How many mango trees are you growing in your yard and how big are they now?
I love hearing and seeing what other people here in the valley are successfully growing.

Hi Raimeken, I have 7 in ground ( i Ver tiny Manila seedling - keeping to see what becomes of it) I have room for 3 more which are going to be Mhun Khun see, , Himsagar and probably a ST Maui / another Lemon Zest or another Sweet . My Trees are not big i posted a recent photo of 3 of them. Took a while to figure out what i need to do to keep them alive here in AZ!

Troys, what are YOUR tips in growing mango? I've only got a Lemon Zest in a pot that will hopefully go into the ground in the Spring.
Also, how would you rate valcarrie vs carrie?

Good Luck, Troy! Yeah, I to notice some mangoes just HAVE to be covered and others do fine in their location. It's all about micro-climates, but I think our (your's and my) temps are at the very end of any mango growing ability. I envy my friends nearer the coast that have tons of healthy growth on their plants.

Seems like grafted trees are slow growers and need some sun protection. Seedlings, no problem, full sun is fine, just not reflected heat.
